Understanding Today's Students presents Autism, From Diagnosis to Treatment with Gregory Stasi, PhD in Clinical Psychology and Sara Panian, MA in Speech and Language Pathology.
Does your child have:
Difficulties with social interaction?
Problems with verbal and nonverbal communication?
Repetitive behaviors or narrow, obsessive interests?
In this lecture, Dr. Stasi and Ms. Panian will:
Discuss core symptoms related to Autism.
Offer explanations of disorders on the Autism Spectrum.
Present information on treatment options.
Understanding Today's Students is a collaborative program in cooperation with the staff of the Rush Neurobehavioral Center (RNBC) and the Chicago Public Library.
RNBC is an approved provider of professional development credits by the Illinois State Board of Education for teacher certification renewal plans. RNBC is a not-for-profit organization offering continuing education programs to inform teachers of neurobehavioral disorders. 1.5 hours CPDU credit will be given for this program.
