About this event:
Join Dr. Jonathan Gross, Director of DePaul University's Humanities Center and Poetry Institute, and students from Alexander Graham Bell School as they discuss their poetry writing and intercultural exchange with students from Kenya.  Using Countee Cullen's poetry as an inspiration, both sets of 5th graders wrote and published books of poetry and exchanged ideas.  Dr. Gross and the Bell students will also speak about the value of integrating poetry into young peoples' lives.
