About this event:

Do you like to write?  Act?  Read?  Meet other teens?  At this workshop, you can do all those things and more!  Learn how to adapt your favorite book into a mini-play which could be performed by the Teen Volume Reader’s Theatre Troupe* for teens all over Chicago!  We’ll supply everything you need, including pens, paper, instruction and the selected pages for adapting from Cory Doctorow’s New York Times Bestseller Little Brother.

 

*The Reader’s Theatre Troupe is a group of teen volunteer actors who perform dramatic readings of adaptations of young adult literature from the Teen Volume collections at Chicago Public Library.

This program will take place in the Multipurpose Rooms, Lower Level of Harold Washington Library Center
