About this event:
Pre-teens and teens (ages 12-up) are invited to create, decorate and plant their own 'chia-pet' type character inspired by their favorite book in one of five zany and informative workshops presented in partnership with University of Illinois Extension. This free program is limited to 30 participants for which materials and supplies will be provided. No background knowledge of plant roots and development is required – just creativity!!
