DESCRIPTION:<p>This interactive program introduces children and their caregivers to picture books, fingerplays, songs and other types of storytelling that promote the six emergent literacy skills a child needs to be ready to read.<br><br>There are three, seven week sessions to choose from: Tuesdays, September 16 through October 28 at 9:30 or 10:30 am; Wednesdays, September 17 through October 29 at 9:30 am.<br><br>Registration is required.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>For more information please call the Children&rsquo;s Librarians at 312-744-7616 ext. 3</p>
