DESCRIPTION:<p>Pre-teens and teens (ages 12-up) are invited to create, decorate and plant their own 'chia-pet' type character inspired by their favorite book in one of five zany and informative workshops presented in partnership with University of Illinois Extension.&nbsp; This free program is limited to 30 participants for which materials and supplies will be provided.&nbsp; No background knowledge of plant roots and development is required &ndash; just creativity!!</p>
