What's Happening in the Library

 
You can find out what's happening in the Library this week through the online events calendar. You can search by program type, name and library location. The Library has a wide variety of programs available to kids.

Bookamania
Approximately 4,000+ children and parents attend performances, craft programs and listen to storytellers and celebrate reading.

Children's Summer Reading Program
Read for fun all summer long during the annual Summer Reading Program open to kids three to fourteen.

Kraft Great Kids
The Chicago Public Library has joined with Kraft Foods to offer Chicago residents free admission to thirteen world-class museums. 

Nature Connections
Special collections and programs celebrating nature and natural history in the city. Kids can Read, Learn and Explore nature all around them. 

Teacher in the Library
This program, supported by the Chicago Public Library Foundation, provides free drop-in, homework help to any elementary school student who visits the library after school. Accredited teachers are hired to provide a structured after-school learning environment for children in the library.
